Walking & Hiking
Marshlands Conservancy Walking & Hiking Trails
Open year-round from sunrise to sunset
Hike along the three miles of trails. Bring your binoculars and camera to see nature up close, record the local flora and fauna, and experience the colors of the ever-changing seasons. Wear suitable clothing for the terrain and the weather.
Hikers are likely to come across white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, numerous small mammals, including squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits, and if they are lucky, such hard to spot creatures such as opossums, minks, or even otters.
The trails give access to all of Marshland’s habitats, and provide stunning vistas throughout the Conservancy. Stop at the Nature Center to pick up a map before you begin your hike.
